HIGHWAYS ACT 1980—SECTION 116

STOPPING-UP OF A HIGHWAY

Notice is hereby given that Hartlepool Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, on Monday 17 September 2007, at 2.15 pm, for an Order pursuant to section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that those lengths of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto be stopped-up on the ground that they are unnecessary. A copy of a plan (Drawing No M50,559) showing those parts of the highway to be stopped-up may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at the Legal Division of the Chief Executive’s Department, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool.

Schedule

That section of highway to be stopped-up is situated opposite 11 and 13 Waldon Street, Hartlepool. The section of highway to be closed is 11 metres in length and the width is 2 metres.
