The Q ueen having been pleased to approve that Lieutenant Colonel Edgar Matheson Gibson, MBE, TD, be appointed Vice Lord-Lieutenant for the Islands Area of Orkney to act for Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area, sickness or inability to act, a Commission in his favour bearing the date 29 August 2007 has been signed by the Lord-Lieutenant.
