STOPPING-UP OF A HIGHWAY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hartlepool Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, on Monday 21st April 2008 at 2.15 p.m. for an Order pursuant to Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 that those lengths of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto be stopped-up on the ground that they are unnecessary. A copy of a plan (drawing number M50, 604) showing those parts of the highway to be stopped-up may be inspected free-of-charge during normal office hours at the Legal Division of the Chief Executive’s Department, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool.

Highway at the side of 2 Ivy Grove

The section of highway to be stopped up is situated south of 2 Ivy Grove. The section of highway to be closed is 18.1 metres in length and the width is 4.2 metres.
