The Queen has been pleased to approve that Mr Michael Oglesby DL be appointed the Vice-Lord Lieutenant for Greater Manchester, to act as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area, sickness or other inability to act.

The appointment takes effect from 30 April 2008.
