The Queen has been pleased to approve that Gilbert Archer DL, be appointed the Vice Lord-Lieutenant for Tweeddale, to act as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area, sickness and other inability to act.

The appointment will take effect immediately.
