We, Merlin Entertainments Group Ltd, of 3 Market Close, Poole, Dorset BH15 1NQ, hereby give notice that in not less than 2 months after publication of this notice, we intend to make application to the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council for a licence to operate a proposed zoo at Alton Towers, Alton, Staffordshire ST10 4DB.

A written notice of the intention to make application for a zoo licence, giving details about the proposed zoo has been sent to the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council. This may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, at Moorlands House, Stockwell Street, Leek, Staffordshire Moorlands ST13 6HQ, telephone 01538 395795 ext 440 between the hours of 8.45 am and 5.15 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45 am to 4.45 pm Friday.
