THE BROMLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) ORDER 2003 (AMENDMENT NO. **) ORDER 2009.

THE BROMLEY (PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2005 (AMENDMENT NO. **) ORDER 2009.

(VARIOUS LOCATIONS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) introduce Waiting Restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) introduce a motor cycle parking bay as specified in the Schedule to this Order;

(c) introduce an Ambulance bay as specified in the Schedule to this Order.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/520 not later than 18th March 2009.

Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting At Any Time:-

ALBANY ROAD, Chislehurst, the north west side, from a point 5m south west of the south western kerbline of Townshend Road north eastwards to a point 5m north east of the north eastern kerbline of Townshend Road.

BRIARY GARDENS, Bromley, both sides, from the western kerbline of Ridgeway Drive westwards for a distance of 10m.

BROADLANDS ROAD, Bromley, (a) the north west side, from the western kerbline of Ridgeway Drive south westwards for a distance of 13m; (b) the south east side, from the western kerbline of Ridgeway Drive south westwards to the north eastern flank wall of No. 36.

BROMLEY ROAD, Beckenham, the south side, from a point 13.5m west of the western kerbline of Park Hill Road to the western kerbline of Shortlands Road.

DURHAM AVENUE, Bromley, the north west side, from a point 15m south west of the south western kerbline of Gregory Close north eastwards to a point 15m north east of the north eastern kerbline of Gregory Close.

ELMERS END ROAD, Beckenham, the north east side, from a point 13m north west of the north western kerbline of Ash Grove south eastwards to a point 8m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Ash Grove.

GREGORY CLOSE, Bromley, (a) the south west side, from the north western kerbline of Durham Avenue north westwards to a point 2.5m south west of the north eastern flank wall of Durham House; (b) the north east side, from the north western kerbline of Durham Avenue north westwards for a distance of 41m.

HAYES STREET, Hayes, the east side, from the southern kerbline of George Lane southwards for a distance of 24m.

MONKS WAY, Beckenham, the north west side, from a point 5m north east of the rear boundary of No. 137 Eden Way north eastwards for a distance of 10m.

PARK HILL ROAD, Shortlands, (a) the east side, from its junction with the southern kerbline of Bromley Road southwards for a distance of 17m; (b) the west side, from its junction with the southern kerbline of Bromley Road southwards for a distance of 15m.

PAWLEYNE CLOSE, Penge, the south east side, from the north eastern kerbline of Franklin Road north eastwards to a point 11m south west of the south western boundary of No. 24.

RIDGEWAY DRIVE, Bromley, the south and west sides, (i) from a point 11m south of the southern kerbline of Briary Gardens northwards to a point 11m north of the northern kerbline of Briary Gardens; (ii) from a point 2m north of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 99 & 101 northwards to a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 89 & 91.

STATION ROAD, Penge, the south west side, from a point 1m south east of the party wall of Nos. 40 & 42 south eastwards to the north west boundary of No. 36.

THE ALDERS, West Wickham, the north east side, from a point 11m south east of the southern kerbline of Wickham Road south eastwards for a distance of 6m.

TOWNSHEND ROAD, Chislehurst, both sides, from the north western kerbline of Albany Road north westwards for a distance of 5m.

No Waiting between 8.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:-

ALBEMARLE ROAD, Beckenham, the south side, from the party wall of Nos. 50 & 50a eastwards to a point 14.5m east of the eastern kerbline of Meadway.

MEADWAY, Beckenham, (a) the west side, from the southern kerbline of Albemarle Road southwards to the southern flank wall of No. 50a Albemarle Road; (b) the east side, from the southern kerbline of Albemarle Road southwards to the northern flank wall of Nos. 1 & 2 Eden Hall.

MONKS WAY, Beckenham, the south east side, from a point 6.5m south west of a point opposite the rear boundary of No. 137 Eden Way north eastwards for a distance of 36m.

No Waiting between 8.30am and 6.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:-

AVONDALE ROAD, Bromley, (a) the north side, from a point 9m west of the party wall of Nos. 6 & 8 to a point in line with the front flank wall of No. 8; (b) the south side, from a point 8m west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 6 & 8 to a point in line with the rear flank wall of No. 27 Lake Avenue.

LAKE AVENUE, Bromley, (a) the west side, from its junction with Avondale Road southwards to a point 6.5m north of the common boundary of Nos. 21 & 23; (b) the east side, from its junction with Avondale Road southwards to a point 10m north of the common boundary of Nos. 14 & 16.

No Waiting between 8.00am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:-

BROGRAVE GARDENS, Beckenham, the north side, from the western kerbline of Wickham Road westwards for a distance of 12m.

COURT DOWNS ROAD, Beckenham, the south and south west side, from a point 9m west of the common boundary of Courtlands and Lincoln Lodge eastwards for a distance of 25m.

DIXON PLACE, West Wickham, both sides, from the north eastern kerbline of The Alders eastwards for a distance of 5m.

THE ALDERS, West Wickham, the north east side, from a point 6.5m north west of the northern kerbline of Dixon Place south eastwards to a point 6.5m south east of the southern kerbline of Dixon Place.

WICKHAM ROAD, Beckenham, the west side, from the common boundary of Nos. 40 & 42 southwards to the northern kerbline of Brograve Gardens.
