The Queen has been pleased to approve that Mr David McDonnell CBE DL be appointed Her Majesty’s Vice Lord-Lieutenant for Merseyside to act as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during his absence from the area due to sickness or other inability to act.

The appointment will take place immediately.
