  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing (“the Council”) on the 3rd April 2014 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Waiting Restriction Order will be to impose waiting restrictions which will apply “at any time” in the lengths of Bourne View, Bracewell Avenue, Gunnersbury Drive and Gibbon Road detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.
  • 3 The general effect of the Loading Places and Free Parking Orders will be to remove the loading bay in Milton Road W3 and replace it with a dual use permit holder/ free limited time bays operating between 9am and 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays available either for K/K1 permit holders with no time limit or for parking by non–permit holders with a maximum stay of 1 hour with no return permitted for 1 hour.
  • 4 The general effect of the Residents Parking Order will be to replace a length of permit holder parking in Gibbon Road north of No. 36 with “at any time” waiting restrictions.
  • 5 The general effect of the Stop and Shop Parking Places Order will be to provide a stop and shop bay in Church Road in the service road on the south-east side of Church Road fronting Nos. 139/141 to 171 to 177 Church Road which will allow vehicles to stay for a maximum period of 1 hour between 8am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays. Vehicles will be permitted to remain in this “stop and shop” parking place beyond the free parking period for an additional period of up to 2 hours on payment of a parking charge of £2 including the 20p transaction fee. The parking charge will be payable through the telephone payment system and will be required to be paid for by the end of the free parking period.
  • 6 Users of the telephone payment system should follow the instructions displayed in the parking place quoting the unique number relating to that parking place to the service provider and providing information as requested. Payment of the parking charge can then be made using most debit and credit cards. An optional charge of 10 pence will be payable to the service provider RingGo for text receipt for the parking session and expiry of parking reminder text messages.   • 7 The Orders, which will come into operation on 7th April 2014, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 15th May 2014.
  • 8 If any person wishes to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE

Bourne View

the south-east side, between the common boundary of Nos.78 and 80 Bourne View and its junction with Bracewell Avenue.

Bracewell Avenue

the south-west side, between its junction with Bourne View and a point 5.00 metres south-west of a point opposite the north-western wall of No. 82 Bourne View.

Gibbon Road, Acton

the north-east and south-east sides, between a point opposite the north-westernmost wall of No. 36 Gibbon Road and a point opposite the north-eastern boundary of No.36 Gibbon Road.

Gunnersbury Drive

the west side, between the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Gunnersbury Drive and the common boundary of Nos. 15 and 17 Gunnersbury Drive.
