APPLICATION FOR CONFIRMATION OF WATER BYELAWS

Notice is hereby given that Scottish Water intends, after one month from the date of publication of this Notice, to apply to the Scottish Ministers for confirmation of byelaws made by them under Section 70 and 72 of the Water (Scotland) Act 1980 (as amended) for preventing waste, undue consumption, misuse or contamination of water supplied by it.

Copies of the byelaws will be kept during the above period at the offices of Scottish Water at the following addresses:

The copies will be open to public inspection without payment between Monday and Thursday between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm; and on Friday between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, for the period of one month from the date of this notice. Copies of the proposed byelaws will be supplied to any person for a nominal charge, on application to Scottish Water at any of the above addresses or by telephoning 0845 601 8855.

Any objection to the confirmation of the byelaws may be made by letter, received no later than 9th May 2014, addressed to:
