NEW ROADS & STREET WORKS ACT 1991

NOTICE OF HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT, RECONSTRUCTION & RESURFACING
Three months advance notice is hereby given that Torbay Council intends to carry out substantial roadworks. Work is expected to affect the footway and carriageway and will commence during October 2014.
The street/roads in which these works will take place are:
TORQUAY AREA
Pavor Road
Castle Circus
Lower Audley Avenue
Pafford Avenue
Scoresby Close
Magdalene Road
Lawn Close
Melville Street
Upper Bradons Hill Road
Alpine Road
Rousdown Road
Museum Road
Lower Union Lane
Fortune Way
PAIGNTON AREA
Goodrington Road (Davis Ave to Gibson Drive)
St Pauls Road
Great Tor Road
Higher Ramshill Lane
Sandringham Gardens
BRIXHAM AREA
South Furzham Road
Cumber Drive
Cumber Close
Northfields Lane
The works notified will include improvement, reconstruction and resurfacing of the carriageway or footway. Subject to the exemptions of the Act and Regulations under it. No street works may be executed for a period of twelve months from completion of works described above without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
