REVERTER OF SITES ACT 1987

WHEREAS
1. By a Conveyance dated 25 July 1905 and made between The Right Honourable Windham Thomas The Earl of Dunraven (l) and The Admiralty (2) and The Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England (3) the Parsonage Site Garw Valley P.C. in the County of Glamorgan and was granted to the said Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England under the authority of the Places of Worship Sites Act 1873
2. The said parsonage site ceased on 7 June 2013 to be used as a parsonage
3. The said parsonage site has ceased to be used for the purpose of a parsonage and under the combined effect of section 1 of the Places of Worship Sites Act 1873 and section 1 of the Reverter of Sites Act 1987 the said land has reverted and become vested in the Representative body of the Church in Wales on trust to sell the same
NOW TAKE NOTICE
1. The Representative Body of the Church in Wales intends to make an application to the Charity Commission for the establishment of a scheme which extinguishes the rights of beneficiaries under the trust and which requires the Representative Body of the Church in Wales to hold the said property on trust for such charitable purposes as may be specified in the Order.
2. Every beneficiary who wishes to oppose the extinguishment of his or her rights should notify his or her claim in writing to the The Head of Legal Services at The Representative Body of the Church in Wales of 39 Cathedral Road in the City of Cardiff CF1 9XF not later than 26 October 2014.
