ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A13 TRUNK ROAD (WENNINGTON INTERCHANGE – STIFFORD INTERCHANGE) (50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 201X
The Secretary of State for Transport gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 84(1)(a), (2), 126 and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A13 Trunk Road, near West Thurrock in the County of Essex.
The effect of the Order would be to impose a permanent 50mph speed limit on the A13 Trunk Road from the Wennington Interchange (A1306) to the Stifford Interchange (A1012), including the roundabouts at Dumb-Bell Junction (A126) near Thurrock, a total distance of approximately 7340 metres.
A copy of the draft Order, of a plan illustrating the proposal and of a statement explaining why the Secretary of State proposes to make the Order may be inspected during office hours at the following:

Any person desiring to object or make representations to the Secretary of State’s proposal should send, not later than 25th September 2014, a written statement of his or her representation or objection and of the grounds thereof to Network Delivery & Development, Highways Agency, Floor 3A, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1SZ, quoting the reference HA/SE/2014/A13/SPEED. Information provided in response to this consultation, including personal information, may be subject to publication or disclosure in accordance with the access to information regimes (these are primarily the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004).
