NOTICE OF INTENDED DISTRIBUTION OF OUTSTANDING CLIENT MONEY BALANCES

Notice inviting clients to submit client money claims
Pursuant to the Financial Conduct Authority’s (the “FCA”) Handbook or Rules and Guidance (the “FCA Rules”) CASS Handbook, Aberdeen Fund Managers Limited (the “Company”) hereby notify that they intend to apply to the FCA for a waiver to the CASS rules in respect of balances of client money held by the Company where the Company has been unable to trace the clients to which it believes that these sums belong.
Clients should note that the original investment relating to these monies could also be related to entities or funds with the following names (or versions thereof):

The Company has made a number of attempts to trace the clients that it believes that these balances relate to, but has so far been unsuccessful. Subject to FCA approval, the Company now wishes to pay the remaining client money to charity.
If clients believe that they may be entitled to any portion of this sum, they may submit claims to the Company at any point. After the client money balance has been paid to charity, clients may still submit client money claims. Aberdeen Asset Management PLC, the ultimate parent company of the Company has agreed to act as guarantor over any valid claim received after the balance has been paid to charity. Client money claims may be submitted by sending details including name, address, date of birth and any information which supports a claim either by email to investor.services.investment.trusts@aberdeen-asset.com or in writing to Investor Services UK, Aberdeen Asset Management PLC, 10 Queen’s Terrace, Aberdeen AB10 1YG and marking correspondence “Client Money Claim”. Please note that the Company may require claimants to submit additional information including evidence of entitlement before it is able to process any claim received.
