LONDON LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND TRANSPORT FOR LONDON ACT 2013

ATTACHMENT OF STREET LIGHTS AND SIGNS TO BUILDINGS

• 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with section 3 of the London Local Authorities and Transport for London Act 2013, that Transport for London (TfL) has decided to exercise the powers conferred by that Act to attach street lights and signs to buildings.
• 2 TfL has fixed an appointed day to commence the application of these powers with effect from 1st April 2016.
• 3 In general, the powers coming into operation on the appointed day will enable TfL to fix street lights and signs to buildings, on roads for which it is the highway authority, by serving Notice to the relevant owner all as described in a Code of Practice for this purpose, published by London Councils.
