ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (WATLING STREET, WEEDON, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) ORDER 2016
Highways England Company Limited (Company no. 9346363) hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) and 4(1) and (2) of, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A5 Trunk Road at Weedon in the County of Northamptonshire.
The effect of the Order, which comes into force on 21 March 2016, will be to prohibit, with exemptions, any vehicle from waiting, loading or unloading, at any time on any day, on the westside of the A5 Trunk Road, from its junction with High Street to a point 48.8 metres northwest of the centrepoint of that junction.
A COPY of the made Order, a plan illustrating the proposals and a statement of the reasons for making the Order may be inspected during office hours at Daventry Library, North Street, Town Centre, Daventry, NN11 4GJ; Daventry District Council, Lodge Road, Daventry, NN11 4FP or may be seen at, or obtained by application to Highways England Company Limited, The Cube, 199 Wharfside Street, Birmingham, B1 1RN.
Any person wishing to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in, the Order, on the ground that it is not within the powers with respect to the Order conferred by the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of, or of any instrument made under, any provision of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 17 March 2016, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
