The Queen having been pleased to approve that Gordon Bruce Dickie DL be appointed Vice Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of Dumfries to act for Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during her absence from the area, sickness or inability to act, a Commission in his favour bearing the date 21 July 2016 has been signed by the Lord-Lieutenant.
