COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2016
COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF LAND IN THE BOROUGH OF HARINGEY
Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Haringey has made the London Borough of Haringey (Wards Corner Regeneration Project) Compulsory Purchase Order 2016 under section 226(1)(a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended by section 99 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004).
The Council is about to submit this Order to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for confirmation, and if confirmed, the Order will authorise the Council to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of facilitating the carrying out of development, redevelopment or improvement of land, being the demolition of existing buildings and erection of a mixed use development comprising class C3 residential, class A1/A2/A3/A4 uses with access, parking and associated landscaping and public realm improvements.
A copy of the Order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at the following venues (i) Civic Centre High Road Wood Green London N22 8LE and (ii) Marcus Garvey Library Tottenham Green Leisure Centre 1 Philip Lane London N15 4JA (Reference LEG/PP 51533 JXK). The documents will also be available on the Counci’s website at www.haringey.gov.uk/wards-corner.
Any objection to the Order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, The National Planning Casework Unit, 5 St Philips Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham B3 2PW before 21st October 2016 and should state the title of the Order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND
All interests except those already owned by the acquiring authority in the Order Land comprising land situated at Wards Corner, in the London Borough of Haringey including properties in Seven Sisters Road (Nos 709;711;713;715;717 and 719), Suffield Road (parking area formerly known as Nos 2 and 2a; buildings and yard formerly known as Nos 4 and 6; 8;10;12;14;16;18;20; 22;24 ;26; 28 and 30), West Green Road (1;1a;1b;3 to7; 9 to 11) and the High Road (227 to 259; incorporating Seven Sisters Market) including the sub soil of parts of those highways.
