In accordance with section 2(1) of the Zoo Licensing Act (1981) and its subsequent amendments we, Cumbria Zoo Company Limited, Broughton Road, Dalton in Furness, Cumbria LA15 8JR, represented by the Chairman of the Directors Mr Stewart Lambert and CEO Ms Karen Brewer, hereby give notice that in not less than two months after publication of this notice we intend to make application to Barrow Borough Council for a licence to operate a proposed zoo at: South Lakes Safari Zoo, Melton Terrace, Lindal in Furness, Ulverston LA12 0LU.

A written notice of the intention to make application for a zoo licence, giving details about the proposed zoo, has been sent to Barrow Borough Council. This may be inspected, free of charge, at the office of the Council at Barrow Borough Council, Town Hall and Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 2NR during the hours of 0900 to 1700hrs
