I, Karen Brewer, of Cumbria Zoo Company Limited, Zoo Office, South Lakes Safari Zoo, Melton Terrace, Lindal-in-Furness, Ulverston, LA12 0LU hereby give notice that in not less than two months after publication of this notice I intend to make application to Barrow Borough Council, located at Town Hall, Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 2LD for a licence to operate a proposed zoo at South Lakes Safari Zoo, Melton Terrace, Lindal-in-Furness, Ulverston LA12 0LU.

A written notice of the intention to make application for a zoo licence, giving details about the proposed zoo, has been sent to the said Council. This may be inspected, free of charge, at the office of the Council at Barrow Borough Council, Town Hall, Duke Street, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 2LD between the hours of 1000 to 1600hrs, Monday to Friday.

The particulars with regard to the proposed zoo and its operation, as required by Section 2(2) and 2(2A) of the Zoo Licensing Act (1981), including how the zoo will deliver and maintain the Conservation Measures required of it, are detailed in the said notice of intention to apply for a zoo licence.
