1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Disabled Resident Parking Places Orders would be to:

(a) designate Disabled Resident Parking Places for use only by persons who are resident within the East Ham, Forest Gate, Little Ilford, Manor Park, Market Street, Monega, Prince Regent, Ruskin, Stratford, Wakefield and West Ham Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs), who meet the current criteria for provision of parking places for disabled persons and who display

Disabled Resident Parking Permits on their vehicles. Certain other vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g. to load or unload goods or pick up or set down passengers. Parking places would be designated outside each of the following locations:-

East Ham Controlled Parking Zone - Nos. 107/109 Kensington Avenue E12.

Forest Gate Controlled Parking Zone - No. 120 Claremont Road E7; Nos. 121/123 Claremont Road E7; Nos. 141/143 Osborne Road E7; Osborne Road E7 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 40 Woodgrange Road) and No. 160 Windsor Road E7.

Little Ilford Controlled Parking Zone - Nos. 36/38 Colchester Avenue E12.

Manor Park Controlled Parking Zone - Nos. 129/131 Meanley Road E12 and Snowshill Road E12 (adjacent to the eastern flank wall of Nos. 61 to 103 Snowshill Road E12).

Market Street Controlled Parking Zone - No. 202 Central Park Road E6; No. 378 Central Park Road E6; Nos. 82/84 Eustace Road E6; No. 33a High Street South E6; Nos. 30/32 Hockley Avenue E6; Nos. 63/65 Kimberley Avenue E6; Nos. 44/46 Ladysmith Avenue E6; Nos. 84/86 Napier Road E6 and No. 25 St Bartholomew’s Road E6.

Prince Regent Controlled Parking Zone - No. 2 Adine Road E13; Nos. 32/34 Lincoln Road E13 and No. 23 Kent Street E13.

Ruskin Controlled Parking Zone - No. 112 Browning Road E12; Nos. 8/10 Rosebery Avenue E12 and Nos. 50/52 Sheridan Road E12.

Stratford Controlled Parking Zone - Nos. 38/40 Alma Street E15; Nos. 26 to 60 Biggerstaff Road E15; Nos. 84/85 Chatsworth Road E15; Nos. 7/9 Torrens Road E15; Victoria Street E15 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 20 Mandrake Way) and Nos. 1 to 35 Warner Close E15 and the unnamed road (lying to the south of No. 1 Jupp Road West) sometimes known as Doran Walk - 20.2 metres north-west of the north-western kerb-line of Jupp Road West.

Wakefield Controlled Parking Zone - Nos. 32/34 Aintree Avenue E6; Nos. 65 to 127 Boleyn Road E6; Nos. 146/148 Katherine Road E6; Nos. 96/98 Oakfield Road E6; Nos. 50/52 Stondon Walk E6; Nos. 89/91 Wakefield Street E6; Nos. 14/16 Winter Avenue E6 and Nos. 17/19 Victoria Avenue E6.

West Ham Controlled Parking Zone - Nos. 30/32 Holland Road E15; No. 23 Lester Avenue E15 and Nos. 11/13 Springfield Road E15;

(b) relocate the Disabled Resident Parking Place outside Nos. 29/31 Dorset Road E7 (Upton Park CPZ) so that it would now lie 2 metres south-west of its current location; and

(c) revoke redundant Disabled Resident Parking Places in various roads.

3. The general effect of the Free Parking Places, Parking Places and Shared Use Parking Places Orders would be to:

(a) remove a short length of parking place from the north side of Strait Road E6 (Beckton CPZ), currently located 28 metres west of the eastern wall of No. 1 Campion Close, which would be replaced by a bus cage marking with bus stop clearway restrictions;

(b) introduce a free parking place outside Nos. 74 to 78 Upton Lane E7 (Green Street North CPZ). This parking place would operate on Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6.30pm with a maximum stay of 1 hour with no return within 2 hours;

(c) remove two lengths of free parking place from the following locations in Leytonstone Road E15: (i) the east side, outside Nos. 62 and 62a and (ii) the west side, opposite No. 60 (Stratford North West CPZ);

(d) introduce free parking places at the following locations in Stratford CPZ: (i) Leytonstone Road E15, the east side, approximately 7 metres south of Buxton Road E15 (this parking place would have a maximum stay of 2 hours with no return within 2 hours); and (ii) Leytonstone Road, the east side, approximately 10 metres north of Bow Street E15 (this parking place would have a maximum stay of 30 minutes with no return within 2 hours). The free parking places would operate on Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6.30pm and on event days from 8am to 9pm; and

(e) remove short lengths (approximately 3 metres) of parking place from the following locations: Forest Gate North CPZ - (i) Godwin Road E7 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 48a Cranmer Road); (ii) Ingestre Road E7 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 26 Strode Road); (iii) outside No. 39 Knighton Road E7; (iv) Ridley Road E7 (opposite No. 80); and (v) Sidney Road E7 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 35 Forest Road); Monega CPZ - (i) Queensberry Place E12 (the western end of the parking place which lies to the west of the western wall of Nos. 135 to 150 Queensberry Place); Stratford CPZ - (i) outside No. 49 Aldworth Road E15; (ii) outside No. 47 Faringford Road E15; (iii) outside No. 40 Glenavon Road E15; (iv) Maitland Road E15 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 25 Tavistock Road); and (v) outside No. 10 Torrens Road E15; Stratford North East CPZ - (i) Vaughan Road E15 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 1 Eleanor Road); and (ii) Stork Road E7 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 16 Knox Road); Stratford North West CPZ - (i) outside No. 35 Chobham Road E15; and (ii) Gough Road E15 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 39 Trevelyan Road); and West Ham CPZ - (i) Jack Clow Road E15 (opposite the flank wall of No. 25 Tom Nolan Close); and (ii) Jack Clow Road E15 (the parking place located in the lay by to the east of Nos. 150 to 160 Jack Clow Road).

4. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can be inspected until six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made (or until the proposals are withdrawn, as appropriate) during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London E16 2QU.

7. Persons objecting to the proposals should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council may be legally obliged to make any comments in response to this notice open to public inspection.
