NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 3rd October 2017 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 16th October 2017.

The effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) make amendments to the waiting and loading restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) relocate the existing disabled bay outside No. 128 High Street, Penge to outside Arpley Square;

(c) relocate the existing disabled bay on the south west side outside No. 134 High Street, Penge to outside Nos. 143-151 on the north east side;

(d) relocate the existing loading bay outside Nos. 157-159 High Street, Penge to outside Nos. 143-151 as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(e) remove the Pay and Display parking bays outside Nos. 136 to 140 High Street, Penge;

(f) relocate the existing Pay and Display parking bays outside Nos. 130 to No. 1 Colman House, High Street, Penge to outside Nos. 122 to 128 as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(g) introduce additional Pay and Display parking bays on the north east side of High Street, Penge as specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(h) introduce Pay by Mobile parking bays on the north east side of Evelina Road, Penge as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting At Any Time:-

CROYDON ROAD, Penge, the north west side, from its junction with High Street, Penge south westwards to a point 10m south west of the south western kerbline of Evelina Road.

EVELINA ROAD, Penge, (a) the north east side, from the north western kerbline of Croydon Road north westwards for a distance of 32m; (b) the south west side, from the north western kerbline of Croydon Road north westwards for a distance of 44m.

HIGH STREET, Penge, both sides, between its junctions with Southey Street and Croydon Road/Green Lane. (including the loading bay but excluding all other marked bays)

No Loading At Any Time:-

CROYDON ROAD, Penge, the north west side, from the south western kerbline of High Street, Penge south westwards to a point 10m south west of the south western kerbline of Evelina Road.

EVELINA ROAD, Penge, (a) the north east side, from the north western kerbline of Croydon Road north westwards for a distance of 32m; (b) the south west side, from the north western kerbline of Croydon Road north westwards for a distance of 44m.

GREEN LANE, Penge, the north west side, from the north eastern kerbline of High Street, Penge north eastwards for a distance of 20m.

HIGH STREET, Penge, (a) the south west side, (i) from the north western flank wall of No. 130 south eastwards to a point 1m north west of the party wall of Nos. 132 & 134; (ii) from a point 1m south east of the party wall of Nos. 150 & 152 south eastwards to the north western kerline of Croydon Road; (b) the north east side, (i) from the north western kerbline of Green Lane north westwards for a distance of 13m; (ii) from the party wall of Nos. 135 & 137 south eastwards to a point 2m south east of the party wall of Nos. 155 & 157.

No Loading between 7.30am and 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive:-

Pay by Mobile parking between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays. 70p per hour – 2 hour maximum stay:-
