BROUGHTY FERRY FLOOD PROTECTION SCHEME 2018

Dundee City Council hereby give notice that they have confirmed the Broughty Ferry Flood Protection Scheme 2018 without modification under Section 60 and Schedule 2 of the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009.

Full details of the operations are contained in the scheme documents which may be inspected by any person during normal office hours and without payment of fee at:-

1. Dundee City Council offices, Reception, Dundee House, 50 North Lindsay Street, Dundee. DD1 1QE.

2. Broughty Ferry Library, Queen Street, Dundee, DD5 2HN

Any person affected by the Scheme may appeal the decision to confirm the Scheme on the grounds that the confirmed Scheme breaches the restriction in subsection (3) of section 61 of the said Act or does not comply with the requirement in subsection (4) of that section, or that, in reaching the decision, the local authority erred in law or that there was a failure to comply with a procedural requirement of the said Act or any regulations made under it, by making a summary application to the Sheriff for this purpose within six weeks from 5th October 2018.
