NOTICE OF THE COMPLETION OF THE SPECIAL REVIEW OF THE DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE FORMER EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE NOW SITUATED INSIDE THE AREA OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YORK.

On 16 July 2018, the Council of the City of York completed the above named Special Review.

The effect of the Special Review is to produce a revised Definitive Map and Statement for the former East Riding of Yorkshire now situated inside the area of the Council of the City of York.

The revised Definitive Map and Statement for the former East Riding of Yorkshire now situated inside the area of the Council of the City of York may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at West Offices, Station Rise, York, YO1 6GA, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday of any working week.

If any person desires to question the validity of the revised Definitive Map and Statement for the former East Riding of Yorkshire now situated inside the area of the Council of the City of York on the ground that the map is not within the powers of the above Acts, or on the ground that any requirement of the above Acts or regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the preparation of the revised Definitive Map and Statement for the former East Riding of Yorkshire now situated inside the area of the Council of the City of York, he or she may, under schedule 1 of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949, within six weeks from 29 October 2018 make an application to the High Court.
