DRAFT SUFFOLK COAST AND HEATHS AREA OF OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY (DESIGNATION VARIATION) ORDER 2019

Notice is hereby given that Natural England proposes to make an Order designating land as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The effect of this Order once made, would be to designate the land to which the Order relates as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The draft Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (Designation Variation) Order 2019 relates to an area of approximately 38 square kilometres in the Counties of Essex and Suffolk in and around:

• the Stour Estuary (in Tendring and Babergh Districts);

• the Samford Valley (in Babergh District); and

• the Freston Brook (in Babergh District)

If, once made, the Order is subsequently confirmed by the Secretary of State, its effect will be to designate this land as part of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A copy of the draft Order, and the maps referred to therein, will be deposited at each of the places mentioned below, and will be open for inspection free of charge, between the hours of 09.30 and 16.30 from Mondays to Fridays, or as shown below, from the 12th day of February 2019 until 22nd day of March 2019, at:
