NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in pursuance of Section 19, as read in conjunction with Section 21, of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 that The NORTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL, established under the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994, having its principal place of business at Cunninghame House, Irvine KA12 8EE intends to manage land having a total area of 64.54 hectares or thereby, situated at Stevenston beach in North Ayrshire and shown delineated in red on the plan attached to the Declaration, as a Local Nature Reserve.

Certified copies of the said Declaration, with plan attached, have been deposited for public inspection, without payment, during normal office and library hours for a period of thirty days from the date of this Notice, in the office of Streetscene, Cunninghame House, Irvine KA12 8EE and Stevenston Library, 1 Main Street, Stevenston KA20 3AB and SNH’s Area Office, 31 Miller Road, Ayr KA7 2AX.
