Notice is hereby given that on 24 June 2019 the Council of the London Borough of Camden made the above order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The general nature and effect of the orders are as follows:
HAVERSTOCK HILL / ROSSLYN HILL, NW3: Extend the northbound bus lane in Haverstock Hill across the junction with Belsize Lane, into Rosslyn Hill and ending at the junction with Pond Street / Lyndhurst Gardens.
MIDLAND ROAD, NW1: Whole road designated as one-way working north to south.
BRECKNOCK ROAD, N7: Left turn into Fortess Road prohibited to all vehicles.
NUTLEY TERRACE, NW3: Revocation of the school bus parking place (10 metres length) on the south side of Nutley Terrace at the side of no. 41 Maresfield Gardens and conversion to a residents permits parking place. Designation of a school bus parking place (10 metres length) at the side of Southbank International School (Hampstead Campus), 16 Netherhall Gardens with a corresponding reduction in the length of the residents permits parking place at that location. Designation of a school bus parking place (12 metres length) at the side of no. 37c Fitzjohn’s Avenue with a corresponding reduction in the length of the permit holders parking place at that location. Designation of a residents permit holders parking place (12 metres length) on the south side at the side of no. 32 Maresfield Gardens.
ROYAL COLLEGE STREET, NW1: Outside nos. 335-341 Royal College Street – reduction in the operative hours of the loading bay to 10am – 4pm each day. Waiting and loading prohibitions will apply whenever the loading bay is not operative.
DRUMMOND STREET, NW1: Cycles to be permitted to enter Drummond Street at the junction with Cobourg Street and to travel contraflow between that junction and the junction with North Gower Street.
REDHILL STREET, NW1: Designation of two disabled parking places both sides of the street (each 6.6 metre length) at the northern extremity of the north-west to south-east arm of Redhill Street. Reduction in the length of the residents parking place on the north-east side by 6.6 metres to facilitate the installation of the disabled persons parking place.
Copies of the order, which will come into force on 1 July 2019, and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the orders may be obtained by contacting traffic.orders@camden.gov.uk or inspected at 5 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG, London. Any person desiring to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
