Natural Resources Wales has published the Challenges & Choices consultation that includes the Western Wales and the Dee River Basin Districts. The statutory consultation is the second in a series of three publications for public consultation, allowing anyone with an interest in the water environment or the river basin planning process the opportunity to comment.

The Environment Agency will publish the consultation for the Severn River Basin District in October 2019.
