I, James Stephen, of BDO LLP, 4 Atlantic Quay, 70 York Street, Glasgow, G2 8JX, (IP No. 9273) hereby give notice pursuant to Rule 5.23(7)(b) of the Insolvency (Scotland) (Receivership and Winding up) Rules 2018 that I was appointed Liquidator of Whalers Quay Limited on 16 September 2019, and may exercise all and/or any powers conferred on me as Liquidator. I do not propose to seek a decision from creditors for the establishment of a liquidation committee although under Section 142(4) of the Insolvency Act 1986, must do so if requests to to so by one-tenth in value of the Company’s creditors.
