The Queen has been pleased by Warrant bearing the date 19 February 2020 to direct the issue of a Commission under the Great Seal appointed to be kept and made use of in place of the Great Seal of Scotland appointing Ms Elizabeth Elaine Grieve to be Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of Orkney.
