The Treasury hereby give notice that Monday, 30 November 2020 is the designation date for the purposes of The Northern Ireland Banknote (Designation of Authorised Bank) Regulations 2020. From the beginning of 30 November 2020, Ulster Bank Limited will no longer be authorised to issue banknotes in Northern Ireland and National Westminster Bank plc will be authorised to issue banknotes in Northern Ireland.
