The Department of Health has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 ", (S.R. 2021 No. 97) which came into operation at 9.00 a.m. on 12th April 2021.

This rule amends the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021. The Rule provides for a click and collect service to be provided by non-essential retailers, allowing certain visitors to venues hosting wedding or civil partnership ceremonies, allowing up to ten people to meet outside at a private dwelling, removing regulation 14 (Restrictions on movement), and permitting the opening of further retail businesses as set out in the schedule 1; along with changes of a technical nature.
