AMENDMENT TO THE BOWES PRIMARY & SURROUNDING STREETS QUIETER NEIGHBOURHOOD AREA AND PROVISION OF PERMITS
WARWICK ROAD N11 AND MAIDSTONE ROAD N11 – MOTOR VEHICLE PROHIBITIONS AND PERMITS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (Prescribed Routes) (No. *) Traffic Order 202* under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order referred to in paragraph 1 of this Notice would be to:
(a) remove the road closure in Maidstone Road at its junction with Warwick Road and replace it with a ban on motor vehicles, to allow access for emergency service vehicles; and
(b) make provision for the issue of ‘BOW’ permits that would exempt certain vehicles from the no motor vehicles restriction described above and the existing no motor vehicles restriction in Warwick Road, at the boundary between Nos. 3 and 5; and
(c) make provision to exempt Dial-a-Ride vehicles from the no motor vehicles restriction described in (a) above and the existing no motor vehicles restriction in Warwick Road, at the boundary between Nos. 3 and 5.
3. A copy of the proposed Order and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive.

4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order or make any other representations must do so by 16th March 2022. Any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1497, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:
