MURDOCH INSTALLATIONS AND TRUNK PIPELINES DECOMMISSIONING PROGRAMMES (CDP3)

Chrysaor Production (U.K.) Limited (a Harbour Energy company) has submitted, for the consideration of the Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, the draft Decommissioning Programmes for the Murdoch Installations and Trunk Pipelines, in accordance with the provisions of the Petroleum Act 1998. It is a requirement of the Act that interested parties be consulted on such decommissioning proposals.

The items/facilities covered by the Decommissioning Programmes are:

The Murdoch Installations lie 160 kilometres east of the nearest UK coastline, in Block 44/22a. The facilities include three bridge-linked platforms (Caister Murdoch System (CMS) joint facilities installations, including Murdoch MA and Murdoch MC, and the Murdoch MD installation and template), each comprising a topside and a jacket structure; two trunk pipelines (one gas, one methanol).

Representations regarding the Murdoch Installations and Trunk Pipelines Decommissioning Programmes should be submitted in writing to the person named at the address below, or via email to DecommissioningDCMailbox@chrysaor.com, by the consultation closing date of 8 April 2022. Submissions should state the grounds upon which any representations are being made.
