The Queen having been pleased to approve that The Right Honourable John David James Dalrymple, The Earl of Stair be appointed Vice Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of Wigtown to act for Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant during her absence from the area, sickness or inability to act, a Commission in his favour bearing the date 17 January 2022 has been signed by the Lord-Lieutenant.
