NOTICE is given that The County of Herefordshire District Council as Highways Authority intends to apply to Hereford Magistrates Court & Justice Centre sitting at Hereford Justice Centre The Court House, Bath St, Hereford HR1 2HE on 4 October 2022 at 2:00pm for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping up of an area of highway from the property’s boundary access point situated off Tanhouse Lane, in a northerly direction through the property known as Seedwood Cottage Tanhouse Lane Cradley WR13 5JZ as shown coloured in red with blue hatching on the attached plan on the ground that the highway is unnecessary.

The effect of the Order will be to extinguish all public rights of way over the said land as shown coloured red with blue hatching on the plan annexed.

A copy of the plan showing the area of the highway to be stopped up may be inspected free of charge at the Council Offices at Plough Lane Hereford HR4 0LE between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday from the date hereof to 4 August 2022.

Any person to whom this Notice has been given or who uses the highway specified or who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order may appear before the Magistrates’ Court to raise an objection or make representation on the application.
