National Highways Limited(a) gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on a length of the A1 Trunk Road at Upper Caldecote in Bedfordshire.

The effect of the Order would be to permanently close the gap in the central reservation of the A1 Trunk Road located opposite the junction with Biggleswade Road.

A copy of the proposed Order, together with a location plan and statement explaining National Highways Limited’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected during normal office hours, between 12 August 2022 and 2 September 2022, at Sandy Town Council, 10 Cambridge Road, Sandy, Beds, SG19 1JE, Biggleswade Library 1 Chestnut Avenue, Biggleswade SG18 0LL, or obtained by application to National Highways, Operations East, Orders Section, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7LW.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should write to National Highways Limited at the above address stating the reasons for the objection no later than 2 September 2022 or within 3 weeks of this publication, whichever is the latest.
