NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that as highway authority Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council intend to apply to Teesside Magistrates Court sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Square, Middlesbrough on 11th November 2022 at 10.00am for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 to authorise the stopping up of an area of the highway mentioned in the Schedule hereto on the ground that the highway is unnecessary.

A Plan showing the highway proposed to be stopped up may be viewed free of charge on the Council’s website (Traffic Orders). Any person to whom this Notice has been given or who uses the highway specified or who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order may appear before the Magistrates’ Court to raise an objection or make a representation on the application.

THE SCHEDULE

The area of highway to be stopped up is 42 square metres off Bath Lane, Stockton-on-Tees as edged red on plan H117/286.
