STOPPING UP OF PART OF THE HIGHWAY KNOWN AS BOXMOOR HALL, ST JOHN’S ROAD, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD
TAKE NOTICE that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL as local highway authority intends to apply to St Albans Magistrates Court sitting at The Civic Centre, St Peter’s Street, St Albans, AL1 3LB on the 23rd November 2022 at 11am for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping up of part of the highway known as Boxmoor Hall in the Borough of Dacorum and shown coloured pink and black on the plan labelled “Boxmoor Hall, Hemel Hempstead – Proposed stopping-up plan” (“the Plan”) on the grounds that it is unnecessary.
The Plan is available for inspection during normal office hours at Front Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Hertford SG13 8DE from 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m on Monday to Friday. On the hearing of the application at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on the date aforesaid, the application authority, any persons to whom Notice is required to be given under paragraph 1 of the 12th Schedule to the Highways Act 1980, any person who uses the highway and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order applied for shall have the right to be heard.
