SALMON AND FRESHWATER FISHERIES ACT 1975
ROD AND LINE FISHING LICENCE DUTIES
Pursuant to section 25 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act 1975, as amended, the Environment Agency and Natural Resources Body for Wales give notice of their intention to fix new Rod and Line fishing licence duties for the period from 1 April 2023. The new duties will have effect throughout the area as described in section 6(7) and 6(7A) of the Environment Act 1995.

Notes:
(1) The rod licence duties advertised above will replace those currently in place until 31 March 2023.
(2) The concessionary charge will apply to:
(a) persons aged 66 years or older,
(b) persons in possession of a Blue Badge parking concession,
(c) persons in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Personal Independence Payment.
(3) The junior licence applies to persons who have reached the age of 13 but have not reached the age of 17 on the date of purchase of the licence.
Any person who wishes to object to the proposed duties must send a statement of their objection in writing to The Freshwater and Migratory Fisheries Team, Shellfish and Aquaculture. Yn unol ag adran 25 Deddf Pysgodfeydd Eogiaid a Dŵr Croyw 1975, fel y'i diwygiwyd, mae Asiantaeth yr Amgylchedd a’r Corff Adnoddau Naturiol Cymru yn cyhoeddi eu bwriad i bennu taliadau newydd ar gyfer trwyddedau Gwialen a Lein ar gyfer y cyfnod o 1 Ebrill 2023. Bydd y taliadau newydd yn weithredol ledled yr ardal fel y disgrifir yn adran 6(7) a 6(7A) Deddf yr Amgylchedd 1995.
