THE HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM (DOCTORS PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 2023

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under the powers granted by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

a. in Adie Road, the north-west side, to install a disabled persons parking place outside Nos. 16 and 17 Adie Road, 6.6 metres of shared use parking place would be removed;

b. in Avonmore Road, the north-west to south-east arm, the south-west side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to install a single yellow line opposite No. 14 Avonmore Road;

c. in Avonmore Road, the south-west to north-east arm, the north-west side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to install a single yellow line adjacent to No. 14 Avonmore Road;

d. in Braybrook Street, the north-east side, to remove a section of the shared use parking place opposite Erconwald Street and replace it with double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions;

e. in Brook Green, the north-east side, to remove the two existing Doctors parking places opposite No. 14 Brook Green and replace with shared use parking place;

f. in Bronsart Road, the north-west side, to remove the existing personalised disabled persons parking place outside No. 36 Bronsart Road and replace with shared use parking place;

g. in Burlington Road, the north-east side, to install a disabled persons parking place outside No. 71 Burlington Road, 5 metres of shared use parking place would be removed;

h. in Burnthwaite Road, in the south-east side, to replace the existing disabled persons parking place with a personalised disabled parking place;

i. in Ceylon Road, the north-west side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to extend the existing single yellow line outside No. 60 Blythe Road;

j. in Colwith Road, the north-west side, to convert the existing disabled persons parking place with a personalised disabled persons parking place outside No. 76/78 Colwith Road;

k. in Cromwell Grove, the south side, to reduce the existing shared use parking place outside No. 1c Cromwell Grove by 0.8 metres and extend the existing single yellow line;

l. in Dawes Road, the south-west and south-east side, to upgrade existing single yellow line waiting restrictions to double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions in the following locations:

(i) between Nos. 1 to 8 Regal Court and its junction with Bishop’s Road;

(ii) between The Fulham Mitre No. 81 Dawes Road and the common boundary of Nos. 107/109 Dawes Road; and

(iii) between No. 117 Dawes Road and its junction with Gironde Road;

m. in Dunsany Road, the north-west side, to remove the two existing Doctors parking places adjacent to No. 74 Sterndale Road and replace with shared use parking place;

n. in Edith Road, the north-east side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to extend the existing single yellow line outside Lincoln House, Edith Road;

o. in Ellingham Road, the south-east side, to remove the existing personalised disabled persons parking place outside No. 1 Ellingham Road;

p. in Girdlers Road, the north-west side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to extend the existing single yellow line opposite No. 29 Girdlers Road;

q. in Girdlers Road, the north-west side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to extend the existing double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions opposite No. 21 Girdlers Road;

r. in Gliddon Road, the west side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to extend the existing single yellow line opposite No. 3 Gliddon Road;

s. in Great Church Lane, the north side, to install a personalised disabled persons parking place adjacent to No. 26 Colet Gardens, 6.6 metres of shared use parking place would be removed;

t. in Gunterstone Road, the south-west side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to install a single yellow line opposite No. 11 Gunterstone Road;

u. in Gunterstone Road, the south-west side, to install a cycle hangar parking place, to reduce the existing shared use parking place and to install a single yellow line opposite No. 37 Gunterstone Road;

v. in Hammersmith Grove, the north-east side, to install a personalised disabled persons parking place outside No. 54 Hammersmith Grove and remove 6.5 metres of shared use parking place;

w. in Hartswood Road, the north-east side, to reduce the existing shared use parking place by 1.9 metres opposite No. 63 Hartswood Road and extend the existing single yellow line;

x. in Landridge Road, the south-west side, to remove the existing personalised disabled persons parking place outside No. 6 Landridge Road and replace with shared use parking place;

y. in Larden Road:

(i) on the north-east side, to remove 7.5 metres of shared use parking place from outside Nos. 108 and 110 Larden Road and replace it with double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions; and

(ii) on the south-west side, to remove 16.2 metres of shared use parking place from outside Nos. 1 to 55 Vandervell Court and replace it with double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions;

z. in Lisgar Terrace, the south-west side, to reduce the existing shared use parking place opposite No. 4 Lisgar Terrace by 1.5 metres and extend the existing single yellow line in this location;

aa. in Milfoil Street, the east side, to remove the existing shared use parking place and to extend the existing double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions outside No. 6 Milfoil Street;

bb. in Novello Street, the south-east side, to install a personalised disabled persons parking place opposite No. 30 Novello Street;

cc. in Seagrave Road, the south-west side, to install a personalised disabled persons parking place outside No. 185 Seagrave Road;

dd. in Stowe Road, the south-west side, to install a personalised disabled persons parking place outside No. 28 Stowe Road;

ee. in Sundew Avenue, the south-east side, to install a personalised disabled persons parking place outside No. 64 Sundew Avenue;

ff. in Sussex Place, the north side, to upgrade the single yellow lines to double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions outside St Paul’s Church and the western extremity of Sussex Place; and

gg. in Wheatsheaf Lane, the south-east side, to extend the existing personalised disabled persons parking place adjacent to Nos. 21 to 35 Rosebank, Holyport Road.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders, the Councils statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders, can be inspected, by appointment, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made, or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representations should send a statement in writing to the following;

Transport and Highways Department, Environmental Services, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.Orders@lbhf.gov.uk,

until the expiration of 21 days from the date on which the notice is published.
