The Secretary of State for the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, in the exercise of the power conferred by section 122(2) of the Environment Act 1995, varied with effect from 8 December 2022 the Environment Act 1995 (Gateshead Council and Newcastle City Council) Air Quality Direction 2020 in accordance with the letter addressed to Gateshead Council and Newcastle City Council as of 7 December 2022.
