NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Cambridgeshire County Council as Highway Authority for the County of Cambridgeshire intends to apply to CAMBRIDGE MAGISTRATES COURT sitting at THE COURT HOUSE, ST ANDREW’S STREET CAMBRIDGE CB2 3BJ on TUESDAY 25TH JULY 2023 AT 10:00AM for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping up of an area of the highway at Cockbrook Lane, Old Weston, Huntingdon, PE28 5LU, Cambridgeshire, shown for identification purposes only edged in black and hatched black on the 1:750 Scale plan (Plan) on the ground that the highway is unnecessary. The effect of the Order will be to extinguish all vehicular rights of way over the said land.

A copy of the draft Order and Plan may be inspected free of charge at Cambridge Central Library, 7 Lion Yard, Cambridge, CB2 3QD between the hours of 9:30am - 6pm Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 9.30am - 7pm Wednesday, 10am - 6pm Saturday and 12pm - 4pm on Sunday or at Huntingdon Library and Archives, Princes Street, Huntingdon, PE29 3PA between the hours of 9:30am - 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 9.30am - 7:00pm Wednesday, 9.30am - 1.30pm on Thursday and 10:00am - 4:00pm on Saturday and online at the Council’s website using the following link: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/definitive map

Any person to whom this Notice has been given or who uses the highway specified or who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order may appear before the Magistrates’ Court to raise an objection or make a representation on the application. Any person intending to appear before the Magistrates' Court at the hearing of the application is requested to inform Daniel Ashman at Searches@cambridgeshire.gov.uk before the 24th July 2023.
