1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley have on 29 August 2023 made the above titled Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Bexley Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -

Salisbury Road, Bexley: - to extend the existing ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Friday 10.00am – 11.00am):

• Outside of No. 42 & 43.

• Opposite No. 31 at the junction of Manor Way.

3. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -

Hudson Road, Bexleyheath: to convert the existing ‘free’ parking places to ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Friday 10.00am – 12noon):

• Opposite No 65/67 to 69/71

• Opposite No. 77 to 81

Sandford Road, Bexleyheath: to convert the existing ‘free’ parking place outside No. 34, to a ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Friday 10.00am – 12noon).

Sheridan Road, Bexleyheath: - to convert the existing ‘free’ parking places to ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Friday 10.00am – 12noon):

• Outside No. 35

• Outside No. 6/8

4. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Bexleyheath Town Centre) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -

Hawthorn Road, Bexleyheath: to extend the existing ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 5.30pm):

• Outside No. 4

• Outside No. 1 to 3

To extend the existing ‘shared residents permit parking and pay by phone place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 5.30pm) outside of No. 45.

Standard Road, Bexleyheath: to convert the existing ‘pay by phone place’ opposite No. 28/30 to ‘shared residents permit parking and pay by phone place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Warren Road, Bexleyheath: to convert the existing ‘pay by phone place’ to ‘shared residents permit parking and pay by phone place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 5.30pm):

• Outside No. 23

• Outside No. 7

5. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Station) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -

Grange Close, Sidcup: to convert the existing ‘free’ parking place to a ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Friday 1.00pm – 3.00pm):

• Outside Spindle House

• Outside Beech House

Old Farm East, Sidcup: to convert the existing ‘free’ parking place to a ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Friday 1.00pm – 3.00pm):

• Outside No. 16

• Opposite No. 1 to 3

Priestlands Park Road, Sidcup: to convert the existing ‘free’ parking place to a ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Friday 1.00pm – 3.00pm):

• Opposite No. 1 – 5

• Outside No. 7

• Outside No. 12

Jubilee Way, Sidcup: - Convert the existing ‘free parking place’ on the eastern kerb-line to a ‘Limited Waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm)’.

6. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup Town Centre) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -

Craybrooke Road, Sidcup: - to convert the existing ‘limited waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour’ parking place outside Oisc Court, to a ‘shared residents permit parking and limited waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 9.00am – 5.30pm).

Hamilton Road, Sidcup: - to install a new ‘limited waiting 2 hours no return within 1 hour parking place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 9.00am – 5.30pm) at the junction of Main Road.

To convert the existing ‘limited waiting 2 hours no return within 1 hour parking place’ at the junction of Main Road, to a ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 9.00am – 5.30pm).

To extend the existing ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 9.00am – 5.30pm) outside of No. 1.

Stanhope Road, Sidcup: to extend the existing ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Saturday 9.00am – 5.30pm) at the junction of Hamilton Road.

7. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Sidcup West) (Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -

Neville Close, Sidcup: to extend the existing ‘residents permit parking place’ (operating Monday – Friday 1.00pm to 3.00pm) at the junction of Christchurch Road.

8. The general effect of the above-mentioned Amendment Orders would be to amend the Bexley (Miscellaneous Parking Places) Traffic Order 2018: -

Nuxley Road, Belvedere: to remove a section of the existing ‘Limited Waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm)’ outside of No. 9 Nuxley Road and extend the same bay outside of No. 11 Nuxley Road.

The parking place will be replaced with a ‘at any time’ waiting restriction.

To remove a section of the existing ‘Limited Waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm)’ outside of No. 4 Nuxley Road and extend the same bay outside of the Church.

The parking place will be replaced with a ‘at any time’ waiting restriction.

9. Copies of the Order which becomes operational on 4 September 2023, the corresponding Parent Order (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order and plans which indicate the length of roads to which the Order relates can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7AT.

10. Persons desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the day on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court
