Notice is hereby given that a Public Local Inquiry in connection with the Orders mentioned below will be held by an Inspector appointed for the purpose by the Secretary of State for Transport beginning at 10.00 am on 26th September 2023 at Clumber Park Hotel, Blyth Road, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S80 3PA to hear representations from remaining objectors (as defined in the Compulsory Purchase (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 2007) and statutory objectors (as defined in the Highways (Inquiries Procedure) Rules 1994), from any other persons having an interest in the land the subject of the Compulsory Purchase Order and, at his discretion, to hear representations from any other persons who may desire to appear and be heard.

The Orders have been made by the Nottinghamshire County Council under the above-mentioned Acts and submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation and are: -

(1) The Nottinghamshire County Council (A614/A6097 Junctions Improvement Scheme) (Side Roads) Order 2022. This is an Order under Sections 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980.

(2) The Nottinghamshire County Council (A614/A6097 Junctions Improvement Scheme) Compulsory Purchase Order 2022. This is an Order under Sections 239, 240, 246, and 250 of the Highways Act 1980.

The Orders relate to proposals for improvements to six junctions along the A614/A6097 Major Road Network from the A614/A616/A6075 Ollerton Roundabout to A6097/East Bridgford Road/Kirk Hill junction.

Copies of the above-mentioned Orders and of the plans referred to therein have been deposited and may be seen at all reasonable hours free of charge at the offices of the acquiring authority at County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7QP, and at Ollerton and Boughton Town Hall, Sherwood Drive, New Ollerton, Newark NG22 9PP between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday or by appointment outside of those hours by telephoning 01623860811 or by emailing office@Ollerton-tc.gov.uk, or online at https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/transport/roads/a614.

Copies of any proofs of evidence, sent to or by the promoting authority are also available for inspection, at the offices of the Nottinghamshire County Council from 5th September 2023.

Proceedings on the above-mentioned Orders are being taken concurrently by virtue of Section 257 of the Highways Act 1980.
