TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY hereby gives you notice that it proposes to make an order under Section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping up of the following areas of public highway which are shown edged black on the plan attached to the draft order:
The area of the public highway to be stopped up forming part of the highway known as Braemar Road London N15 immediately to the east of the building known as 1 to 6 Brunel Walk being essentially a rectangular area measuring from west to east 10.53 metres and from north to south 18.94 metres and an area of 193.82 m2.
IF THE ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised to enable the development described in the Schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission deemed granted under Part III of the Act to the London Borough of Haringey under planning reference HGY/2022/2723 on 4th April 2023
COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLANS MAY BE INSPECTED during the 28 days commencing on 20th September 2023 at River Park House, 225 High Road, Wood Green, London N22 8HQ and can also be inspected on the Council’s website at https://brunelwalk.commonplace.is/en-GB/proposals/document-library/step1
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of the proposed order within 28 days commencing on 20th September 2023 by written notice to the Head of Legal Services, 7th Floor, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, London N22 7TR or by e-mail to matthew.barrett@haringey.gov.uk in both cases quoting reference LEG/PP/MJB/73500.
In preparing any objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.

THE SCHEDULE
Redevelopment of Brunel Walk to provide 45 new Council rent homes in four buildings ranging from 3 to 4-storeys high including 39 apartments and 6 maisonettes. Provision of associated amenity and play space, cycle and refuse/recycling stores and 4 wheelchair parking spaces. Reconfiguration and enhancement of existing parking areas and outdoor communal areas and play spaces on the Turner Avenue Estate
