Notice is given that at 07:37 hours, on 21 September 2023, at the DVA Weighbridge, Garmoyle Street, Belfast, BT15 1FA, the Driver & Vehicle Agency, by virtue of powers under Regulation 3 of the Goods Vehicles (Enforcement Powers) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 (“the 2012 Regulations”) detained the following vehicle and trailer:

Registration number: B9008BT

Make: Scania

Trailer Identification number: C523560

Make: Chereau

At the time the vehicle and trailer were detained the trailer was laden with chilled vegetables.

Any person having a claim to the vehicle and trailer is required to establish their claim in writing on or before 10 November 2023. The application form can be downloaded at www.infrastructure-ni.gov.uk/publications/application-department-infrastructure-return-detained-goods-vehicle The form should be completed and sent by post to the Transport Regulation Unit, Safe and Accessible Travel Division, Department for Infrastructure, Room 3-09, Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB or via email to TRU@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk (Regulations 9, 10 and 20 of the 2012 Regulations refer).

If on or by the date given in this notice, no person has established that they are entitled to the return of the vehicle and trailer, the Driver & Vehicle Agency shall be entitled to dispose of them (Regulations 13 and 14 of the 2012 Regulations refer).

Any person having a claim to the contents of the above vehicle and trailer may seek their return on or before 10 November 2023 at the Driver & Vehicle Agency, 148-158 Corporation Street, Town Parks, Belfast BT1 3DH between 09:00 hours and 17:00 hours Monday to Friday.

If on or by the date given in this notice, no person has established that they are entitled to the return of the contents, the Driver & Vehicle Agency shall dispose of them (Regulations 15 and 16 of the 2012 Regulations refer).
