Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 1st December 2023 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other powers.

The General Effects of the Orders would be:

(i) To introduce Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays, operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.42 Everington Road N10, 5-21 Chesnut Grove N17, No.31 Clifton Gardens N15, No.33 Glasslyn Road N8, No.121 Mount Pleasant Road N17, No.17 New Road N22, No.1-15 Stamford Close N15, No.12 Tancred Road N4, No.64 Windermere Road N10

(ii) To convert existing Disabled Parking Bays to Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, operating at any time, whilst also extending them to measure 6.6 metres in length, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.195 Gladstone Avenue N22, Radley Road N17 adjacent to No.38 Bruce Grove, No.2 Courcy Road N8, No.30 Elms Avenue N10, No.53 Gladesmore Road N15, No.67 Gladstone Avenue N22, Campsbourne Road N8 outside No.25 to 33 Newland House,

(iii) To remove Disabled Parking Bays outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.40 Albert Road N22, No.85 Barrenger Road N10, No.29 Gisburn Road N8, No.224 Northumberland Park N17, No.69 Steeds Road N10, No.22 Winton Avenue N11, No.58 Woodside Road N22.

(iv) To remove Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; No.27 La Rose Lane N15, No.36 Rathcoole Avenue N8, No.50 Tynemouth Road N15

(v) To introduce Disabled Parking Bays operating at any time, measuring a length of 6.6 metres, outside (unless stated otherwise) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey; opposite No.8 Lealand Road N15, Dickenson Road N8 opposite No.29 Ella Road, opposite No.12-22 Mussington House Stainby Road (2x bays introduced),

(vi) To relocate the existing dedicated disabled bay from opposite No.127 Northumberland Park N17 to the location of the existing standard disabled bay opposite No.117 Northumberland Park.

(vii) To revoke the relevant underlying Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(i) and (v) of this notice.

(viii) To reinstate the Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Section 2(iii) and (iv) of this notice.

The Dedicated Disabled Parking Bays would specifically be for the use of the permit holder for which it would be authorised. No other permit or blue badge would be valid for use within the proposed parking place except for the permit for which it was issued.

Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 13th December 2023.

Further details: an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect the Orders during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR, or can be viewed online https://streets.appyway.com/haringey within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
