HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL (A320 CORRIDOR (OTTERSHAW TO CHERTSEY AND M25 JUNCTION 11) IMPROVEMENT SCHEME) (CLASSIFIED ROAD) (SIDE ROADS) ORDER 2022
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that on 13 December 2023 he has confirmed, with modifications, the above Order which was made by Surrey County Council under sections 6, 8, 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980 and which, as confirmed, authorises the Council to –
(a) improve highways;
(b) stop up highways;
(c) construct new highways;
(d) stop up private means of access to premises; and
(e) provide new means of access to premises,
all on or in the vicinity of the route of the classified road known as the A320 which the Council are proposing to improve between Ottershaw Roundabout, Ottershaw and St Ann’s Roundabout, Chertsey and along St Peter’s Way, Chertsey.
Copies of the above-mentioned Order and associated plans may be inspected at:
1. Surrey County Council, Woodhatch Place, 11 Cockshot Hill, Reigate, Surrey RH2 8EF between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday;
2. Surrey County Council, Quadrant Court, 35 Guildford Road, Woking, Surrey GU22 7QQ between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday;
3. Chertsey Library, Guildford Street, Chertsey KT16 9BE between the hours of 2pm and 5pm on Monday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm on Tuesday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm on Thursday, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm on Friday and 10am and 4pm on Saturday; and
4. Runnymede Civic Centre, Station Road, Addlestone KT15 2AH between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am and 4.30pm on Friday

Any person aggrieved by or desiring to question the validity of any provision within the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement or regulation made has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks of 12 January 2024, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision included.
