The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory Rule entitled "The Dungannon Road, Portadown (Abandonment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2024", (S.R. 2024 No. 53) which comes into operation on 6th May 2024.

The Rule will abandon an area of 235 square metres of road adjacent to No. 199 Dungannon Road, Portadown at Birches Roundabout, junction 12, of the M1 Motorway. A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) by appointment only.
